Bromide (Br-) is the anion of the element bromine. For the Beaver Run Project, bromide is detected and quantified by suppressed anion chromatography. Our current limit of detection is xx ppm, and our current limit of quantitation is xx ppm.

Sources of Bromide

"Bromide concentrations in sea water are generally in the range of 65 ppm to over 80 ppm in some areas ... Concentrations of bromide in fresh water typically range from trace amounts to 0.5 ppm."[1]
